A Lot On My Plate

I've been really bad about blogging this week and I haven't been reading or commenting blogs as much as I normally do. I honestly haven't been keeping up with anything this past week.

There's some things going on with work, the Army and just life in general and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I'd blog about it, but I don't think it's the right time and things always change, so I'd hate to blog about something and then turn around and correct myself. So please just bear with me.

I wanted also to say hello to my new followers. Also...if you follow me or regularly read me and I don't have you listed on my link list to the side, then PLEASE tell me so I can read you too. That is, if you want me to.

I think today is a great day for a Forever 21 order. I will be ordering (if they are in still in stock, the two green dresses I shared with you guys about a week ago)

I love this dress:

But after thinking about it I'm not sure where I'd wear it. If I can't picture myself wearing something a lot, then I usually don't buy it.

Oh..and I tripped up the stairs today at the USO. In front of people. Embarrassing? Yes. Painful? Yes. I already have a huge bruise on my knee.

Ouch

I feel ya on the whole Army thing...I love how things always change and have you eating your words.

At least we all know everything eventually falls into place. Good luck!

"Hang in there" is really the only thing I can say. I think everyone goes through moods where they get overwhelmed. I love that dress! I need to go check out Forever 21.

also...heh...I *think* you follow me? But I'm not on your list as far as I can see! Hope your day gets better :)

Most obnoxious thing about the army and change is that it doesn't always change for the better....or worse. You just sort of move from one mildly annoying situation to the next. Lol. Keep your head up!

aww..I hope things start to get better! And I LOVE that dress from Forever 21, but I'm with you...I'm not too sure if I would wear it more than once, maybe twice! However, it is adorable! And a Forever 21 order ALWAYS puts a smile on my face..no matter how crappy my day is ;) Have a great day gorgeous lady!

Love your blog, I have only been following for a few weeks but when ever you do post it makes me smile! I was on Forever 21 yesterday looking for a homecoming dress and I found the Daisy Tulle... So pretty I think I am getting it! I loved the green dresses from the previous post too!
Hang in there with whatever life is throwing at you, you are strong!! When you get things back under control and would like please come check out my blog!
Hope things get better!

Oh yay, life and all that stuff... sure is *bleh* sometimes. I hope everything works out for the best.

I've done a very grand falling down the stairs so I feel you on that one. Think black tie event and a ballroom staircase at a Four Seasons hotel.

I really enjoy your blog and read it regularily. I'm a new or soon to be military wife (my husband is at officer candidate school right now) and the military is very new to me. Your blog has been great. I hope the stresses work them self out.

I hear ya. It's been like that here, as well. Part of which due to our ping-pong dieting. But, when all is said and done, maybe I'll be able to wear Forever 21 stuff too!

Oh, and I'm one of those new people, and of course you are more than welcome to come by and read me (which sounds weird).

Very cute dress! I'm a follower, I think I've been for a while.

Hope everything clears up and that all the hassles end soon!

I love that dress! I've actually never purchased anything from Forever 21. I'm always way to nervous to purchase from stores online if I have not physically tried on the clothes from the store.

I'm sorry you are having such a stressful time. The military has a knack for just loving to stress us out I think. And don't worry about falling going up the stairs... My hubby stepped on my skirt and nearly ripped it off me at a military ball in front of a 3 star general. Something like that has happened to all of us...It builds character, right?! lol

Hopefully your feelings will pass and you'll be back to yourself soon!

Yay for F21 orders!

I came by the USO yesterday, but it was before you came in, so I didn't get a chance to say hi. And I'm so glad I didn't end up bringing the kids with me as there was a VERY rated R movie playing on the TV. It was kind of funny that I walked in right in the middle of a nude scene and was like..."Ummm...does Melissa work here?"

Hope things get better for you. Watch out for those stairs.

Hey! I thought now would be a good time to introduce myself, as I've been reading your blog a few months and have yet to comment. My husband is in the Navy and I completely understand the way things can change at a drop of a dime (am going through something like that myself at the moment!) Anyway- hang in there- things always work out. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and letting me read!
